Everybody told me how painful bunion surgery would be, during and after the procedure. I had my operation under local anaesthetic with no problems whatsoever. Post operatively, I had minor discomfort for a couple of days resolved with simple painkillers. At my six week check, xray showed a secondary fracture. Mr Murphy talked me through this and I wore a specialist boot for a further fortnight. Two weeks later and all is good. Mr Murphy, at all times explained everything in great detail. All I can say is thank you x

Mr Smith was warm and welcoming, able to listen (which sounds simple but you'd be surprised how many can't), discussed the issues and options available, and quickly came up with a plan which I was happy to follow
