Dr. Bazire is a great professional. He shows a lot of empathy and support towards his patients. He was so supportive during the program and after that. With his way of being, he makes you feel comfortable to talk about your struggles and to want to make life changes. I am more than thankful for his support and for the changes that i was able to do.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I have had my first consultation with Lorna and was very pleased with the experience. The two words that come to mind are empathy and professionalism. She was very understanding and seemed to genuinely care about my overall health and determining how she could best help me within her scope. She seems very versed in both Ehlers Danlos and the related ailments and illnesses. In fact, it was a stroke of luck that I had my visit with her, as she picked up on the fact that a supplement my digestive doctor had prescribed was doing more harm than good in my particular case; neither my doctor nor I had connected those dots! I particularly like the fact that she combines both a clinical and an integrative/functional perspective and has found a middle ground that is backed by hard science and her own experience. I’m looking forward to continuing my healing journey with her on my team of practitioners.

I had a successful programme with Tracey and it changed some of my eating habits and enhanced others. I had an additional bonus of weight loss and improved gut health. I also have the knowledge that my overall health is good and how to manage my diet, vitamins and supplements in the future. It has put me in a good position for the coming years.

Expected a more in-depth consult rather than lots of questions, and a weight and height measurement. No examination of me. I feel I have bloating but it may not be. I wish to lose weight- is that appropriate or I could just be quite muscular so using a BMI as a guide was a surprise

Lucy is very knowledgeable and guided me to the best plan tailored to me. Look forward to implementing all her suggestions in my diet and hoping a road to recovery. Lucy also answered any further questions I had after the call and responded very swiftly.

Mr Jones was very friendly and informative. He was happy to explain everything in detail and took his time to reassure me.

I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. I have found Mr Jenkinson to be thoroughly professional, candid and realistic. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.

Raquel and her team are wonderful. Patient engagement and satisfaction is very high and as a clinician who refers patients to her, I see the benefits of her work.
