I was referred to this doctor following a regular BUPA check up during which time I discussed experiencing occasional shortage of breath and some sensation of compression in my upper chest/lower throat. He explained carefully to me the possible causes and as a precaution recommended that I have a CT scan and MRI, after which he patiently and in simple language, explained to me the results.

He requested many tests and said we would meet in about a weeks time to discuss further, Wondered why he did not request a 24 hour ecg as it may help to detect the funny sensations that occur in my heart intermittently when i walk / climb stairs. Are they Atrial ectopics?
