I was referred to this doctor following a regular BUPA check up during which time I discussed experiencing occasional shortage of breath and some sensation of compression in my upper chest/lower throat. He explained carefully to me the possible causes and as a precaution recommended that I have a CT scan and MRI, after which he patiently and in simple language, explained to me the results.

Dr Bhan has been my consultant since my diagnosis. I have always left a consult fully understanding my condition, procedures required, medications and the road ahead. I have dealt with many doctors and consultants and have felt unseen and unheard, I never felt this way with doctor Bhan.

I was referred to Dr Vroon’s clinic via A&E and was feeling very low and vulnerable but by the time the consultation was finished I was more relaxed and hopeful and feeling that the NHS would do everything it could for me. His approach was gentle, friendly, relaxed and reassuring. I felt he was very respectful of me and my situation. He was very thorough and outlined tests he felt appropriate, what they were for and possible solutions. I felt he was looking at all of the solutions and he explained my journey over the next few months. He spent time ensuring I understood everything and gave me loads of space to ask questions. My mood lifted as he spoke and began to realise that there were tests, results and then future plans. I left the clinic feeling very hopeful and very cared for. I had the best sleep for months after speaking to him. The follow-up consultation was just as helpful and supportive. My health had begun to improve from one of his recommendations and he outlined plans for the following months. I have been through many appointments over the last five years and I can easily say that Dr Vroon’s was the most memorable. He is a special human being with a fantastic bedside manner and meeting him is therapeutic in itself. I am a retired NHS director and have worked with hundred of Doctors, nurses and Consultants over the years and would have felt privileged and blessed to work alongside him. I cant recommend him highly enough.

Professional and friendly. Explained everything clearly and concisely.

I had an echcardiogram done by Dr Lo Monaco (It has taken me a while to come round to write this review, but he deserves the good feedback!). The Dr was very professional, friendly and his experience was evident. He easily identified all the points from an ECG I had received previously. When he performed the echocardiogram he took the time to explain what we were seeing (thankfully healthy) and managed to rule out conditions, and explain possible next steps. If I had to see a cardiologist I'd happily go back to see Dr Lo Monaco.

I have always been very satisfied with my consultations with Dr Westwood. His manner is very personable and his advice is clear and informative.

I typically feel nervous when seeing doctors, as I’ve experienced rude, impatient doctors in the past. However, doctors like Dr Archbold really help me feel more comfortable with visiting hospitals. Dr Archbold listened to every symptom and every concern of mine very carefully. I’m an anxious person, particularly when it comes to health. I was incredibly grateful that Dr Archbold took the time and went over everything I mentioned, explained the potential reasons for why I may be experiencing the symptoms and what it means for my health.

I find my consultations with Dr Baker to be both informative, pragmatic and extremely reassuring.
