Mr Sturridge was very pragmatic right from the start. He quickly assessed my hip and realised I needed a full replacement. But critically he also assessed the knee pain I had been suffering with for 5 years as likely to be referred pain from the hip. Mr Sturridge visited me in the afternoon after the morning op to check I was comfortable and to let me know everything went well. I was able to get up and walk a few steps with a walker that day. Within two weeks I was able to walk unaided without crutches and at my six week check up with him I was walking up to an hour! Mild pain was completely gone within a month and the scar is very neat and healed well. I cannot have hoped for a better outcome as true to his word the knee pain I have suffered for so long (and three knee ops) has completely gone! Thank you so much!

I was referred to Mr. Preston to perform robotic repairs to my oesophagus and diaphragm in addition to a hiatus hernia repair and lipoma removal. Surgery was performed at HCA Guy’s hospital. Mr. Preston was informative and caring throughout - fully explaining everything to me and showing me images of what needed to be done before and after the procedure. The surgery was a complete success with Mr Preston dealing with a couple of slightly more complex issues than expected. I cannot thank Mr. Preston enough.
