After a desultory 6 minute phone appointment with our NHS GP for my 91 year old mother who barely concealed her disinterest, I was grateful to receive a recommendation to Dr Dan. The difference between the two experiences was chalk and cheese. We had our appointment online which was the easiest option for mum. The first big difference is that a 30 minute consultation with Dr Dan is standard. Sheer luxury! Dan actively listened, showed interest, he was both friendly and respectful, directing his questions to mum rather than me as her carer which pleased us both greatly. His responses were decisive, reassuring and crucially, compassionate towards an elderly lady who was more than a bit scared by her recent health challenges. He was willing to think outside the box on her health issue which required exactly that approach. We have had two subsequent follow ups and have been similarly delighted by the advice received. Dr Dan is skillfully assisted by Nathan who runs the The Wright Practice extremely professionally and with great good humour. I’m very relieved to have made the move from our NHS practice to Dr Dan.

Dr Lavan went out his way to make me feel comfortable. He had researched my medical history before we met and was fully conversant with my previous needs. He listened to the problem that had brought me to the surgery examined me thoroughly and explained his diagnosis in layman's terms . He explained what i needed to do but more importantly followed up my visit with a brief report on the condition I had developed.

I had a consultation with Dr Lascar in May 2024, focused mainly on the role and benefits of bio-identical hormones. She has a calm and warm personality which sets the tone for a relaxed conversation. I welcome Dr Lascar's holistic approach in getting to know her patients, touching on everything from diet, life style, personal and family medical history, mental and emotional load, etc. She is remarkably patient and took her time to explain thoroughly different aspects of body functions and how bio-identical hormones come into play. I felt listened to, understood and expertly guided towards what may work best for me, without any pressure to opt for one option or another. Dr Lascar comes across as a professional who deeply cares about her patients and is up to date with the latest on her field. I feel confident continuing my health journey with her and I look forward to our next appointment!
