I was given plenty of time to discuss the presenting problem, swift examination took place and I was then given a clear explanation of what had been found. Treatment options were discussed and a way ahead mutually agreed. This was all done along with a delightful sense of humour. I felt that I had been respected and had been treated as an intelligent person despite my advanced years. That isn’t always the case when in contact with some members of the medical profession! Mr.Yardley was excellent throughout the whole process from the initial assessment, the operation day and the follow up consultation. I consider that I was fully informed and felt at ease throughout.
