I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate (240ml) which turned out to be beyond the operating parameters of my urology surgeon in Dublin, Ireland. He had no hesitation in referring me to Mr Aho whom he described as one of the world’s experts. I had a HoLEP procedure in Princess Grace Hospital London on the afternoon of April 18th, was discharged on April 19th and was on a flight home accompanied by my wife on April 20th. Post-surgery I had a little discomfort while urinating but this settled down after a day or two. I didn’t need to take any pain meds. I was back to normal activity within weeks. Irish Life Health gave me pre-approval for the medical procedure abroad which covered the vast majority of the cost. Mr Aho is an exceptionally skilled surgeon and I am extremely grateful to him and the PGH team for the care they gave me and for the superb outcome.

Everything was made clear to me during our consultations and confirmed in writing. The secretarial staff were also most helpful.

Mr. Husseiny treated us kindly and respectfully. He asked the right questions and gave us answers to ours. He did his best to reassure us regarding the future.

Mr Cohens approach could not be faulted, he was kind and considerate following my illness "sepsis", he explained concisely how he intended to treat me, he spent a considerable time with me, he explained what he intended to do if the removal of the catheter did not function.

Mr Nkwam was very professional, covered all the information quickly but in sufficient depth that I had only a few questions and was friendly during the consultation.

I had a HoLEP operation performed by Mr Nair on the 8 May. From diagnostic tests through to the procedure itself, he has been extremely pleasant and professional. I am making an excellent recovery from the operation and am delighted with the results. I am very grateful for Mr Nair’s kindness and competence and highly recommend him as a first class surgeon.

This is not my first experience of being under the care of Mr Ellis. He is always very friendly, sympathetic, efficient and professional. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

I would highly recommend Mr Aboudi. He was really professional but also really kind and understanding. He explained all the options clearly and made sure I was comfortable and clear on everything all the way through. His treatment plan worked really well and I quite frankly feel like he gave me my life back. I could not recommend him enough!
