I was greeted with an introduction that explained what Dr Catherine Mathews was qualified in. She did not want to see the letters from the doctors as she preferred to examine the issue so she could make her own diagnosis. This approach was backed up by the outcome that the doctors letter was not addressing the real issue. Plain X-rays and MRI scans are required to further diagnose the issue.

I went to see Dr Gulati about painful joints and she rapidly diagnosed what I had as a neurovascular disorder. The whole time I really felt she was listening to me and taking my concerns seriously. she has a great bedside manner and was able to sort out all the tests I needed to help eliminate some possible underlying causes of my condition.

Florence is knowledgeable and organised. Provided advice on my son’s dietary changes.following her advice , yesterday he did his maths homework without the need of our help. Diet certainly plays a big role. Thanks Florence.

I have had my first consultation with Lorna and was very pleased with the experience. The two words that come to mind are empathy and professionalism. She was very understanding and seemed to genuinely care about my overall health and determining how she could best help me within her scope. She seems very versed in both Ehlers Danlos and the related ailments and illnesses. In fact, it was a stroke of luck that I had my visit with her, as she picked up on the fact that a supplement my digestive doctor had prescribed was doing more harm than good in my particular case; neither my doctor nor I had connected those dots! I particularly like the fact that she combines both a clinical and an integrative/functional perspective and has found a middle ground that is backed by hard science and her own experience. I’m looking forward to continuing my healing journey with her on my team of practitioners.
