Very happy with treatment and caring staff

Very good initial consultation. Very attentive and informative on day of surgery. All went well and at follow up appointment was examined and all good so I was discharged.

Initially I went to see Mr Arun Prasath Shanmuganandan when I discovered my hemorrhoids was not improving. Dr Arun was so professional and knowledgeable but above all he made me feel very comfortable. He was very calm and understanding. He took his time with the assessment and was very meticulous. The treatment he suggested was very effective and made a swift recovery. During the consultation he discovered there is a family history with bowel cancer and he strongly advised for a colonoscopy which my GP never picked on. Dr Arun was very proactive and got everything organized for me. The colonoscopy very smoothly and I did not felt anything, I guess this must be down to his experience and knowledge. Two polyps was removed send to the lab and Dr Arun gave me the all clear during the follow up. I felt very safe at all time in his care. I highly recommend Dr Arun, he is an expert in his field.

Barry is just the best - kind, funny - I mean who wants to talk poop with someone you don’t really know and he explains things so you can help yourself to feel better, with long-term solutions as well. After a bad experience at another London hospital after the birth of my son and my bowel stopped working post-c-section Barry is a godsend and has put my mind at rest with the symptoms I’m experiencing. Thank you Barry, in the nicest possible way I hope to not sit in your consulting room again. :)

Dr Rajas been brilliant. Only downside was after operation I wasnt seen to by Dr Raja who I appreciate was runninv around 90mins/2hrs behind but the hospital staff were able to tell me what I actually had done

Mr Karim explained everything to me about my illness and the procedure I had. He was very good during the procedure and had a very good bedside manner.
