I have been very happy with the care I have received for glaucoma from Mr Muntasser and his team at St Paul's Hospital, Royal Liverpool University Hospital. It is a very busy department until recently in old-fashioned and less than ideal accommodation, nevertheless the surgery, follow-up and check-ups have all been very professional and I have every confidence in the treatment, which is ongoing.

Mr Dubois was able to explain all aspects of my cataract surgery options in a calm and professional manner. There was no time pressure on the discussion and I was able to ask questions at any time. A follow up letter summarised our conversation. Each option was clearly detailed and had both the positive and negative aspects shown I had some queries and he telephoned me to talk them through I had confidence in him and this was proved to be correct The procedure went smoothly and the results are fantastic. Tribute also to the hospital/ clinic staff 90% of the time no glasses needed now. It a revelation.

Mr Hemmerdinger is so easy to talk to, he explains everything extremely thoroughly and never rushes you, nothing is too much trouble. My cataract operations have been very successful, I had no pain during or after the procedure and my vision is amazing. Thank you Mr Hemmerdinger!

I am really impressed by his care and attention, by the amount of time he took took explain what was wrong and what he would do to try to put things right. He is really courteous attentive and professional and made me feel confident going into the operation. Many thanks to him.
