Excellent service with a great sense of humour

I knew from reading Mr Mohil's resume he was the right Consultant for me. He thoroughly reviewed my symptoms and offered me optioins for treatment. My condition has improved greatly and I no longer need pain killers to manage my condition. I cannot thank him enough.

Professor Patel oozes clinical expertise and experience and, yet, at the same time listens to the patient questions. I couldn't have been in better hands for the elective surgery.

Mr Millar has been dealing with my ankle issue for a couple of years, he has done a great job diagnosing the issue, suggesting options and ultimately fixing the problem. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

I had high tibial osteotomy knee surgery performed by Mr Amit Shah at the Spire Hospital Blackpool in May 2023, Mr Shah is a brilliant surgeon and the procedure has been a huge success for me, and it has prevented me having a full knee replacement. One year on I am now walking around 12/15 K a day with my dog, previously it would have only been around 3K and then the pain would get to much for me, I would encourage anyone who is offered this as an alternative to a new Knee to go for it, the future benefits are well worth it 👍.

Excellent orthopedic consultant made a very good diagnoses on first visit which was later backed up by MRI scan for my Achilles Tendan rupture. On route to faster recovery due to DR Majeeds consultion.

I came to Mr Khor with 2 cysts I wanted removing and straight away he made me feel comfortable, relaxed and heard were as others who I had seen about my problem had not. Mr Khor explained in depth about how he was going to continue with my procedure, explained any possible complications and give me great reassurance and after care advice. Fortunately Mr Khor was able to carry out my treatment after my consultation on the same day which I was very grateful for as I was not local to the area and continually checked in on my during the small wait time after my consultation. During my procedure Mr Khor made me feel in capable hands and was overall a pleasant experience. A week later I saw Mr Khor again for a follow up appointment and once again was made to feel welcome and relaxed. My recovery albeit small is going very well and I’m pleased with the minimal scarring Mr Khor has able to achieve, I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have had occasion to see Mr Marynissen several times over the last few years, (for different and separate issues), but latterly one week ago for knee pain diagnosed as chondrocalcinosis following MRI scan. I cannot recommend him highly enough as each consultation and procedure could not have been more professional, precise and effective. Not only that, both he and his medical secretary absolutely bend over backwards to facilitate the shortest wait possible for an appointment - followed by timely treatment despite the fact that his time, knowledge and expertise is always in great demand. I went from misery to elation within hours at this last visit. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you so much.

Mr Woodruff made me feel comfortable and relaxed, I have anxiety and he was very calm, very gentle, didn't make me feel anxious about anything. He explained everything in a very easy to understand manner. Every appointment was the same, absolutely nothing to feel nervous about. On the operation day, he explained everything again to be was sure I understood what was going to happen. After my op Mr Woodruff came to my room to see how I was and to ask if I had any questions, explained how I would feel and what pain management to use. Post-op appointments were great, I was never kept waiting and was treated with the upmost courtesy and respect. I would highly recommend Mr Woodruff, he is a great surgeon and a perfect gentleman.
