At consultation Mr McFarlane clearly explained the options I had and the associated risks of having surgery. I was left feeling confident in him and that having treatment was the correct choice and what to expect post-surgery. On the day of surgery I was well looked after and came home understanding what recovery might be like and what to do to manage any pain or deal with any other potential issues.
