I have been seeing doctor Shushma for few years before deciding to go ahead with the operation of hysterectomy which was nessassary because of my stage 4 prolapse womb . Her profesionalsm ,her very friendly manners ,and approachability convince me finally to take this big step . I have never felt under any pressure to make this decision . Since my second child I had suffered with abdominal separation. Overlaid with 2 caesarian sections and a hysterectomy my stomach felt like it was almost not attached anymore. Constant bloating, constant questions around pregnancy and a need to wear clothes that concealed the bulge. Mr Matthew James understood what I needed from our first conversation. He was empathetic but also super practical and factual. To me, what had felt horrible and admonal since my second pregnancy was something that he knew instantly he could rectify. It was the first time I’d spoken to somebody who didn’t make me feel like it was something that I could cure myself or equally learn to live with as part of the privilege of growing older. Mr James, made me feel reassured and safe. My operation was explained carefully and the recovery process not sugar coated. The day treatment actually worked well for me. To any women contemplating this, please go for it. The recovery isn’t easy, yes you have a new (but not bad) scar but the results are really life changing. I would recommend Mr James to anyone considering this treatment.

Miss Adib is possibly the most approachable and sensitive medics that I have ever had dealings with. Her professionalism, coupled with a deep understanding of her specialisation, is extremely reassuring. I had a Mona Lisa Smile treatment. Miss Adib gently explained every step of the process and carried out the procedure. There were three sessions which each took in the region of 5/7 mins, spaced over three months. The procedure has had an extremely positive effect on my life and general wellbeing. I can sneeze and laugh without crossing my legs, which is such a massive improvement with something that I had simply leant to live with. I had stopped running due to leakages, but last weekend I played 3 sets of tennis with my family, I felt secure and relaxed throughout, and enjoyed it enormously. I cannot thank Miss Adib enough for improving my quality of life so much. I cannot understand why all women in their 50/60 /70s don't have this treatment. I will be back each year now for the annual one off procedure. Additionally, I am also now being guided through taking BHRT by Miss Adib. My approach is why 'put up' with all these restrictive 'things' which we encounter as we get older if we don't have to. I am so happy to have met Miss Adib and would recommend her unreservedly to all.
