This is the consultant you want in your corner if you need to have a hysterectomy for gynae-oncology reasons, actually probably for any other reason too. There's three things that make Miss Tipples a truly 5 star consultant 1) Her bedside and consulting manner is efficient yet calm, kind and patient 2) She is a brilliant surgeon and I am recovering extremely well from my operation 3) She takes a holistic approach to patient treatment so everyone I needed to see during the pre-op and post-op care were aware of Miss Tipples requirements. This included the radiographer, pre-op nurse and physio as you may expect, but even the housekeeper who explained Miss Tipples likes patients to have a light meal after their op. Lastly, if you do need to see Miss Tipples for gynaeoncology, she follows the best of best practice - even my biopsy results were reviewed by the MDT after my operation to ensure the results were accurate and complete. The only additional thing I'd recommend for Miss Tipples patients if they are having a hysterectomy would be an appointment with a POGP physio before your operation so you have a baseline for your pelvic floor strength. That's just a personal view though.

Mr Sainsburys was wonderful very informative and understanding he also operated on my mother many years ago and I would highly recommend him

Mr Gardner was warm and inviting. He is a good listener and is anxious to know more about you. By learning about my pets and home life he managed to help me relax.

I first met Dr Lillian Ugwumadu in October 2019, She has been such a support for me in dealing with Endometriosis over this time. Her professionalism and understanding is very reassuring and has given me 100% trust in her throughout my whole experience. she is very friendly and I always feel very comfortable being able to discuss personal medical issue's with her in a very open manner. Lillian's expertise in making a plan of action when we discuss issue's has been superb. Executes delivery in everything Lillian says she will do for me, whether it be booking scans, following up with results in timely manner or answering questions when I have felt unsure of things, the service in which I have received from her is efficient, polite and professional.

Miss Munyame has been a breath of fresh air to me! I was very nervous about my treatment. During my first consultation everything was explained to me and I felt immediately sure I was in the best hands. At my follow up appointment I was able to see photographs of my procedure and ask questions. I feel that I have received a very personal service. Should I ever need further treatment I would not hesitate to seek Miss Munyame’s help. I cannot thank her enough for restoring my health.

Mr Kelada was patient with my questions and gave matter of fact explanations to the results. I would have appreciated some statistics about people with my levels and some statistics about what we could expect but I realise that may be hard to do.
