I was so lucky to meet Mr Awad for my procedure. I felt totally confident that I would successfully get through a quite difficult episode in my life. Mr Awad was always caring and kind and patiently answered all my questions: his explanations were completely borne out by how things progressed. The nursing/speech/nutrition team at Charing Cross Hospital were also excellent.

Apart from being an extremely knowledgeable and highly capable surgeon, Professor Paleri also has a great ability in engaging with his patients. He always ensures that the patient is at the centre of the decision making process, and provides them with uncomplicated explanations and interpretations of the various stages of the treatment plan. He is an exceptional person.

Excellent experience from first consultation through to the recent follow up appointment. Mr Hettige is a really pleasant man and the results of my surgery are excellent with substantially improved breathing!
