My daughter found Dr Jamil for me. I have cancer and had previously had to come off a cancer drug due to raised results for my liver in my blood tests (ALT). This pattern appeared to be repeating itself on the drug I currently take plus my bloods showed ALP was also raised. The great frustration of this is that the drugs I have been on have been very effective so far in controlling the cancer. Dr Jamil, was incredibly helpful in fitting me in to his schedule within a very short period of time. We sent him a lot of detailed information shortly before the appointment. He had completely assimilated this by the time I saw him and was able to be really clear and informative at the appointment about my liver condition diagnosis. Dr Jamil immediately identified the course of treatment needed, worked out the necessary prescription for the treatment drug and recommended some additional tests. He was incredibly warm, supportive and proactive throughout. I had been very anxious that my liver results might again result in withdrawal of my current cancer drug treatment. Thankfully with the treatment Dr Jamil has proposed, that may be avoided. Prompt treatment was incredibly important to me. Dr Jamil responded brilliantly to the situation and he bent over backwards to get his letter out to us in super fast time. Can’t thank him enough.
