His explanation of the cause of my pain and possible solutions was very clear. He explained all the possible advantages, disadvantages and implications of possible interventions. He was clear as to which intervention he thought best, but I felt no pressure to choose it - rather, he suggested I took time to deliberate. In short, he gave me confidence to choose the op he had suggested. Between consultations, some of which were by telephone at my request, he remembered, all the details of my case, including arguably irrelevant family details which made me feel I was a ‘person’ not a ‘case’. The aftercare I received was wonderful.
