Wonderful to have the time necessary to explain your medical problem and have a genuine doctor listening with compassion and understanding. Ok, the NHS is great but personally I think it hinders the medical professionals exploration of each patient’s history by the swiftness of appointments. It must be frustrating for the doctors who have had years to qualify and so much to give, to be limited in their profession. I am fortunate in being able to afford a private consultant but many patients can’t. Dr Patel today was a kind and efficient gentleman and I recommend his practice wholeheartedly
