Mr Samsudin helped me so much. Apart from.being knowledgable and skillfull he is also calm, practical and has empathy. He listened to me and my symptoms, he explained clearly and with empathy what i was going through and what my treatment options were. When it came to the actual surgery it was obviously unpleasant but Mr Samsudins calmness and clarity made the whole process so much more bearable. Within a couple.of weeks I felt so much better and within a month of the surgery I was back to normal with no issues or complications

Rather light approach to my post-op experience. I am seriously concerned as to my post-op progress, yet I felt dismissed. Despite expressing my issues, I had literally 5 minutes consultation while being told that I'm doing great. Constant vomiting and inability to eat\hold the food down 2 months after the surgery does not reflect "doing great" in my opinion. I'm considering seeking a second opinion.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. I have found Mr Jenkinson to be thoroughly professional, candid and realistic. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.

Dr. Bazire is a great professional. He shows a lot of empathy and support towards his patients. He was so supportive during the program and after that. With his way of being, he makes you feel comfortable to talk about your struggles and to want to make life changes. I am more than thankful for his support and for the changes that i was able to do.
