Mr Dixit successfully performed the required operation. He showed great skill in cholecystectomy and knowledge in related issues. Both pre and post-op care was also excellent. Mr Dixit ensured that all information was clearly explained and fully understood at each stage.

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I was recently under the care of Dr Tsironis while recovering from abdominal surgery. His visits each morning kept me informed of how I was doing, but it was at the follow up appointment once I had been discharged that he really took the time to explain my condition to me. I asked endless questions and he really helped me to get a grasp on what had happened to me by showing diagrams of the anatomy, explaining to me so that I could understand. He put me at ease and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

I have received excellent care from Mr Rashid. My initial meeting was very reassuring, Mr Rashid explained the procedure clearly and was caring and respectful. On the day of my surgery he visited me both prior and post procedure, again ensuring I was happy and prepared. My follow up appointment was prompt, again reassuring and I feel I have had very good care throughout. Mr Rashid has offered guidance should I need further treatment or have any ongoing concerns. I am very grateful for his kind, supportive care as any surgery can feel daunting but I have felt in good hands from start to end.
