I spent a long time choosing my Consultant and was very pleased with my decision . This was based on his expertise and skill as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Mr Griffiths is very approachable, professional, very open and honest and put me at ease straight away. I had been in pain for years with both hips and when it came to a couple of days before the surgery I had a wobble. I considered cancelling the surgery as It was daunting having major surgery and the rehabilitation required after surgery. Mr Griffiths reassured me everything would be fine and we had made the right decision and not to overthink things. I am so glad I did not back out of the surgery as the condition of the joint was worse than anticipated. I was worried and apprehensive as to how much pain I would be in after the surgery. I didn't need to worry. On day one post surgery I already had a reduction in the pain emanating from the joint and radiating up my back and down my leg. I was discharged the day after surgery. I did all of the exercises and stopped using crutches after 2 weeks post surgery. After 8 weeks Mr Griffiths then repeated the procedure on my right hip with the same great result as the left hip. He provided brilliant care, support and attention to detail with an incredible result and experience. The Hampshire Clinic was excellent in my pre- op, operation and post-op care. I would recommend using this hospital.

The empathetic compassion and effort supporting and caring for both my sons from Mr Rad is second to none. We have had quite a journey prior to him treating my eldest - with amazing results - for which we are incredibly grateful. He understood my son’s issues, almost instantaneously, due to his insights and experiences, at the pinnacle of his specialist fields, which provided our whole family with rare and generous skilled support. He has treated him with aplomb, seeing the whole person, not just his symptoms, listening to him and engaging with him with great success, no small feet with his anxieties. With the difficulties and needs of my son, which are themselves a contested field in which we have been passed from pillar to post, it has been really the best it could be, in terms of understanding and assistance. My other son, had a completely different issue however, - which was causing undiagnosed pain - preventing him from participating in a high level of sport which he loves and is his life. Again, Mr Rad’s suspicions and investigative senses were proved right and we knew he was then seeing the right person to help. He provided swift action and a concrete plan of treatment we could all believe in and again, resolved my son’s injury completely, providing ongoing advice and cutting edge suggestions for support in sport. Both for complex diagnoses and related disorders, affecting muscles, gait, learning to walk again and for very tricky developmental issues and injury, we thoroughly recommend Mr Rad.
