I recently had a total hysterectomy which has been highly successful. Ms. Eleni Mavrides was thorough and exceptional from our initial consultation at The Portland through to the post-op follow-up. She provided excellent guidance while discussing my options regarding the best type of hysterectomy for my personal case and I am delighted with the outcome now, several weeks later. No complications and the bikini line scar is neat and discreet too, a bonus. My recovery has been faster than expected, largely due to the first-class surgery and the wonderful care of the nurses and other staff. Mr Sayasneh has been amazing and couldn't recommend him enough. After years of painful periods and not being given a solution or diagnosis despite scans on the NHS, he diagnosed me very quickly with endometriosis and helped me with a pain management plan and talked through fertility implications. He then went on to do a laparoscopy which was very successful, left minimal scaring and has turned my life around pain-wise. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good gynaecologist.

Dr. Shazia Malik has a very warm and welcoming energy. She makes the patient feel comfortable and she explains everything in details. She is happy to provide with alternative options in case your treatment doesn’t work. She and her secretary respond quick to emails in case you have questions. I definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr Thum listened to us and identified that I had very active NK cells which were causing repeated miscarriages. Without him and his expertise, we wouldn’t be parents. His positivity really helped too, and he was willing to try different things if the original course of action didn’t work.
