I had Toric Lenses fitted in June 2023. From the beginning, I had irritating starburst and glare. I was told these would diminish over the next few months. They didn't. I went back almost a year later and had a thorough examination by Mohammed the Optometrist who told me that my eyes were very dry. He gave me good advice on what I could do to help myself. I was fully examined and the implanted lenses were fine, but the back of the natural lens capsule had taken on a 'milky' hue, causing my problems - I think I have that as accurate as I understood it. Prof Shah examined me and offered to put it right there and then. I had YAG Laser treatment which made a hole in the natural lens capsule that immediately righted my problem. Wow, what a difference it made!! My sight is now clear with no glare or starbursts. Each time I have visited Midland Eye I have been welcomed by the Team who are very friendly and put me at ease. They are very caring and I wholly recommend them all.
