I was referred to him with acute pain on the top of my foot. Numerous visits to a GP and physiotherapist had failed to either diagnose the problem or provide relief. Mr Al-Maiyah listened to me; he examined my foot and immediately diagnosed the problem. I was swiftly treated with a cortisone injection which was expertly and accurately injected into the appropriate location. This is not a cure but the relief is very great. There was not a long wait between the initial consultation and the operation. After The operation I was able to return home soon after relatively pain free . However when the painkiller wore off I had very bad pain but was able to get advice . quickly and took the appropriate painkiller. The end result was very successful
