The whole family's concerns were addressed but at the centre was the patient and her concerns a truly exemplary consultation in every way. To take a case that had long been beyond the reach of NHS dogma; to deconstruct it and then elementally re-combine the components around a single evidence backed core explanation, was an absolute object lesson in how academic and free-thinking medicine can be conducted to the benefit of the patient, their family and support networks. This consultation was a masterclass in common sense practice triumphing over outdated concepts and barriers in thinking. Dr Simon Butler-Manuel was very personable and empathetic towards my condition. He was humble and clear, and ensured I fully understand the scope of my procedure. He made minimal incisions, avoided the need for stitches or staples which was preferred as to avoid scarring, and the next day following my operation he came by to give me a full breakdown of how my procedure went and what I can expect moving forward.

From the initial appointment, and examination to the operation and final evaluation, Mr Lippiatt has been both professional and understanding, whilst providing me with the confidence I needed to finally getting things done.

I really appreciate Mr Papadopoulos reading my notes before our appointment, explaining the options available, talking me through the procedure, and answering my questions with patience. I was nervous about my procedure but I felt very comfortable after the doctor explained the process and was very calm and reassuring during the procedure. The nurses were also really nice
