David is very knowledgeable and was able to clearly explain and demonstrate what the issue was with my tendon. He discussed a clear plan and was realistic but encouraging about outcome and recovery. I now understand the cause of my problem and now have fantastic orthoses in my shoes which have completely changed my comfort in walking. He has advised on strengthening and reviewed any queries or issues that I have had over the past few months. He worked in close liaison with a physio colleague who I had seen. He is easy to contact and quick to respond and a really easy person to talk with. I would recommended him to any one with an ankle/ foot problem.

I'm so greatful to have a new knee but after care wasn't so great.iv had a second opinion as im still in alot of pain. And limp terribly..I did feel I wasn't listed too at my a week check up.6 months later I'm in more pain now than before my operation. Currently waiting to be seen in pain clinic.

Mr Ritchie is very good at explaining everything to you. I found him to be very approachable. He makes you feel at ease and confident in the treatment and the options available to you. What an asset to your hospital. He is a lovely consultant. I am very grateful for all he has done for me. I would highly recommend him. He also has a fabulous sense of humour.
