I feel totally comfortable at Shirley Oaks, everyone I was in contact with through the process from walking in to leaving were professional al and friendly. Easy parking, good facilities.

The team at Blackheath Hospital, especially the anesthetist, were outstanding. Their professionalism and kindness made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. They were attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I felt good before, during, and after the procedure.

Great all round

This is the second operation I have had with Prof Imam and could not be happier. Exceptional! My physiotherapist in France told me you should congratulate your surgeon for the great work. Can not recommend more!

Great experience but ran late

I had my surgery within 3 weeks of my initial diagnosis. My pre assessment was quickly arranged and I had a courtesy call the day before surgery.

I stayed at the Princess Grace for three days following my procedure, one night in intensive care and two on a regular ward. All staff were pleasant, understanding and also were very knowledgeable and supportive.

Fast service, friendly,

I was shocked and disappointed today that several other patients attended with young children. As a patient attending the ACU, I find each and every visit here emotional and difficult and the presence of others children is highly insensitive. I’m surprised that this is allowed and that there aren’t separate waiting areas made available to visitors with children. There is also nowhere quiet and confidential for patients or couples during difficult times. I think that some small adjustments to the setup of the unit would help those attending feel considerably more comfortable and supported.
