I would like to think that yesterday you saved my life. You recognised the danger I was in and you set in motion actions that led to me having 2 stents inserted that very day. Your prompt assessment and urgency, while imparting key information to me in a direct and thoughtful way, was key to preventing premature heart failure.

Dr Mort asked pertinent questions and didn't limit them to the symptoms I was presenting. He enquired into my general health and lifestyle. He suggested several simple lifestyle and office changes which would help, reassured me that I had a known condition which was benign and sent a request to my GP to assist when I had an (unrelated to my query) attack. My relief at knowing what was wrong and the alterations to my life have, so far, kept the problem I went to him for, away, although the attacks I was getting were intermittent. I felt it was a very helpful consultation.

Dr Faircloth is a master in his field with huge amounts of knowledge and a fantastic ability to explain the complexities of cardiology in terms easily understood by those like myself who are considerable less clinically aware! Dr Faircloth has helped me with a very mysterious Hypertension issue especially given that I am quite young to be experiencing this type of issue. After some very rigorous testing Dr Faircloth has now managed to identify the right combination of medication for myself to control my blood pressure which I have had issues with for the past 5 years. I have seen various doctors and GP's and was unable to get to the bottom of my hypertension issues and now for the first time in what feels like a lifetime I have this under control and managed effectively removing all stress that this has caused me! Dr Faircloth is brilliant and a really lovely gent at the same time! Thank you very much!

For over two years I was tormented by Pulsatile Tinnitus. The noise was so loud it affected every part of my life. Along with the noise, I had constant headaches & dizzy spells. I was unable to sleep & depression was taking over. I was told time & time again. “Its Tinnitus, nothing can be done!” It felt completely hopeless. Yay, finally a diagnosis! When I met Dr Makalanda he gave me hope. Yes there were risks involved with surgery, but any surgery has risks, right? This surgery needs to be more widely available & GP’s educated that not all Tinnitus is the same! Dr Makalanda is a wonderful doctor, kind, caring & super clever! He explained the complicated surgery to me & throughout I felt in the safest hands. I will be forever grateful to him, for giving me my life. Silence now, really is golden.
