I arranged an online video interview with Dr Susanna Unsworth at the Cambridge Womens Clinic in Cambridge in November 2023 following a recommendation by a friend and after reading the book ‘Oestrogen Matters’ by Dr Avrum Bluming and Carol Tabriz, PhD. I had been advised by a few medics over the latter few years that I’d have to come off HRT at some point as I’d no longer need it, which advice did not make sense after my understanding of the natural decline of oestrogen at menopause with its resultant problems, and of its importance to women following menopause to maintain cognitive health, bone density and cardiovascular issues. My current regime of HRT had served me well over the years but through my reading of more up to date information I was made aware of an alternative and improved combination. After an unsuccessful initial attempt to reach out to a GP (not my own) who said that I should expect to experience bleeding, I reached out to Dr Susanna Unsworth. The hour long video appointment was better than I could have expected. Dr Susanna is immensely easy to talk to and answered all my questions and worries. I felt relaxed and above all reassured on every level about changing my HRT to a more current healthy combination. I highly recommend her invaluable advice.

Dr. Saravelos has been key to our entire experience of IVF ranging from our egg retrieval all the way to our fourth embryo transfer. There has not been a single moment where we haven't felt supported throughout our fertility journey. He has an exceptional bedside manner, demonstrating genuine care and empathy. His compassionate yet realistic approach fosters a comforting environment for his patients, contributing positively to an overall difficult experience which has been made much more manageable under his care. We appreciate everything he has done for us and will forever be thankful to have been treated by him.

Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

Miss Adib is possibly the most approachable and sensitive medics that I have ever had dealings with. Her professionalism, coupled with a deep understanding of her specialisation, is extremely reassuring. I had a Mona Lisa Smile treatment. Miss Adib gently explained every step of the process and carried out the procedure. There were three sessions which each took in the region of 5/7 mins, spaced over three months. The procedure has had an extremely positive effect on my life and general wellbeing. I can sneeze and laugh without crossing my legs, which is such a massive improvement with something that I had simply leant to live with. I had stopped running due to leakages, but last weekend I played 3 sets of tennis with my family, I felt secure and relaxed throughout, and enjoyed it enormously. I cannot thank Miss Adib enough for improving my quality of life so much. I cannot understand why all women in their 50/60 /70s don't have this treatment. I will be back each year now for the annual one off procedure. Additionally, I am also now being guided through taking BHRT by Miss Adib. My approach is why 'put up' with all these restrictive 'things' which we encounter as we get older if we don't have to. I am so happy to have met Miss Adib and would recommend her unreservedly to all.

Miss Evans was the wonderful - I cannot recommend her highly enough. Miss Evans was patient with me, took the time to explain and show me my situation and was sensible in next steps - something I was desperately seeking in a Doctor! I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.

Miss Nandy is absolutely, a 5 star consultant. Extremely calming, patient, professional and knowledgable. Miss Nandy always took plenty of time to explain all options to me ensuring I understood and was comfortable with everything before moving on. I felt she went above and beyond what was expected of a doctor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miss Nandy to anyone looking for a gynaecologist.

Dr Wright is a great Doctor in all aspects. Both personal and professional.

Mr Hextall is very calm and knowledgable, he feels like a safe pair of hands. His explanation of the problem and the process of treatment was clear. He was attentive and available - he even took a call on a Sunday afternoon whilst away on holiday, which resulted in the swift treatment and resolution of a slight complication.

Following a 2 year IVF journey with Dr Batwala, I can definitely confirm that our experience was great. His professionalism was exemplary, and he took a lot of care and time to explain our protocol, results and solutions at each cycle.
