My appointment with Dr Al-Joudeh was a positive experience. He was able to see me quickly and he took time to explain things without rushing. He had a kind and caring manner and I would recommend him to others. If only more doctors were like him.

Best ERCP doctor. That’s what I I felt once the sedation wore off. I did a lot of research online and finally consulted my doctors at Blackpool and asked them to refer me to Dr Mahesh. My hospital doctors had done a scan on my gallbladder and bile duct which showed that I had a problem with my bile duct and the pain I’ve been getting for last few years was because of the way my bile duct is behaving. Finally after lot of investigations locally, they could not find what was the cause of my pain but I told them in my Google search I found Dr Mahesh to be a safe bet. Eventually, I was referred to him who was very kind and patient, listened to my problems and then offered two investigations which can be done in one go and I reluctantly agreed. My faith did pay off, he did a procedure called EUS which is nothing but ultrasound scan from inside my tummy which showed a small stone. Hence, I needed ERCP to remove the stone from my bile duct, it appears just like my family members, I had to be a challenge because my bile duct was bigger than normal, because I had a very small opening of the bile duct. However, the doctor was successful in getting into the bile duct and remove the stone. Although I was happy that something was found and procedure was done successfully, Dr Mahesh warned that I might remain sore for a few days and there is a risk of pancreatitis. Luckily, probably because he is a good doctor, I had no issues and recovered really well and now I have been pain-free for four weeks. All my family members had similar problems and they developed complications after the procedures, I did not, lucky me. . I’m really glad that I did my research and found the right doctor. Hopefully I will have no trouble in the future. Thanks to every one involved in my care. I really appreciate what has been done to me.

Dr Vani has the most exceptional patient relations skills. He was reassuring, honest and genuine. He had the most perfect manner during my recent scare, explaining everything clearly and clarifying if I had any questions. He understood how scared my husband and I were and did everything he could to make sure everything progressed quickly. He is wonderful.
