I recently had a lower eyelid operation preformed by Mr Lorenzo at Southampton Hospital Eye Unit. Throughout the consultation, operation and the follow up appointment I found him to be exceptional professional. He explained everything very clearly with the procedure and also how successful the operation had been. During the operation he was in total control and I was highly impressed with his and his team's performance. I could not fault any part of the procedure.

Tom is an exceptional consultant, following a failed operation under the NHS, which made me very apprehensive of undergoing further surgery, I was put at ease by Tom's understanding of my concerns and reassurance of the positive outcome I could expect. Tom took time to explain in detail what the procedure would entail and the aftercare that was required to ensure the operation was a success and did not reoccur. His bedside manner and empathy towards my nervousness were excellent and made me feel at ease both before and during the operation. Unfortunately I have had my fair share of operations for different ailments and would rate Tom as one of the best consultants that I have been treated by.

He was very patient and gentle. He explained my next procedure thoroughly.

Absolutely suburb. Mrs Shah-Desai really is the most exceptional surgeon I have experienced. Her attention to detail combined with her warm and reassuring personality make her a truly wonderful surgeon. I have had a blepharoplasty recently carried out and I honestly couldn't be happier. I feel very lucky to have had Mrs Shah-Desai carry this out for me.

I have been to a few ophthalmologists, and Vicky was by far the best. Everyone should try and see her. She was not only accurate, understanding and empathetic, but has a hands on approach, overseeing all of her patients and medical staff rather than just delegating to juniors.
