For just about all of my life, in both professional and personal contexts, I have sought excellence. I haven’t often found what I’d personally describe as excellence, although I’ve often seen something close to it (I work in a safety critical role). I can count on one hand (less, in fact) the number of times I’ve given a recommendation (I.e. not more than 2 or 3) because I do so only when I see true excellence. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr Scala. Not only do I seek true excellence and only give reviews when I find it, my eyes are something I’m personally very, possibly even overly, sensitive about and so I was truly petrified when diagnosed with a detached retina. Mr Scala responded in a highly professional and efficient manner, took time out of what must be an incredibly busy schedule to allay my concerns as far as he possibly could that allowed me to overcome my fear and undertook the surgery in a highly efficient and effective manner. By choice, I would not choose or allow anyone else to look after/undertake any procedure my eyes or those of my loved ones. I can and do recommend Mr Scala without a single moment of hesitation - he is, in my opinion, truly excellent.

Mr Awad is so reassuring, he explained everything very clearly and was happy to listen to my questions and answer them. He made sure that I fully understood the options available to me and I was more than happy with the outcome of my appointment today.
