I went to see Professor Branley as whilst I was on holiday I had a severe chest infection and shortness of breath. I found Professor Branley polite reassuring and extremely thorough. He examined me then explained to me how my lung function was working and the test procedures I should undertake to determine my symptoms. Subject to the test results he would provide a plan for any treatment necessary.

I came to Dr Bownes for a second opinion on two MRIs of my knee. He did not provide a clear response to whether my ACL was damaged despite repeatedly asking him, and he did not seem worried my knee pain was left undiagnosed. I did not feel my concerns were heard during or after the meeting, or that he looked at the MRIs carefully, and he seemed to have made up his mind before looking at them. Dr. Bownes did not seem very interested in my case.
