I found Mr Shetty to be very professional and knowledgeable. His manner is open and friendly - not so friendly that I felt there was any sub-text which I thought important! His explanation of the cause of my pain and possible solutions was very clear. He explained all the possible advantages, disadvantages and implications of possible interventions. He was clear as to which intervention he thought best, but I felt no pressure to choose it - rather, he suggested I took time to deliberate. In short, he gave me confidence to choose the op he had suggested. Between consultations, some of which were by telephone at my request, he remembered, all the details of my case, including arguably irrelevant family details which made me feel I was a ‘person’ not a ‘case’. The aftercare I received was wonderful.

Timely, helpful in advance of procedure, with extra consideration for my medical history. I had absolutely excellent surgery and inpatient care, which could not have been bettered. Explanations were very good too, but because I already had information from another surgeon in advance, details were less necessary. I am so pleased with my progress in what is still a short time. When I first came to Doctor Sian, I was in a very bad way with prolapsed discs and chronic pain, as a result this had impacted my mental health to a very dark place. I had lost the ability to live my normal life because of pain and fear. Doctor Sian was the first person to acknowledge my situation properly after years of being treated less well by other Doctors. Over the time I have been seeing him, I have slowly recovered from being in terrible pain, to being in a much better physical state, and my mental health has massively improved. As always it was a delight to meet Professor Nurdeen. Even though we were meeting him after some years, the rapport and welcome was immediate and the years dissolved away. The Professor was so quick and clear in directing us as to how we were going to start our journey. We felt very looked after and very pleased.

Mr Molloy visited me almost daily even after operating on other patients & finishing late in the evening. My only slight niggle is that I feel Mr Molloy gave me to understand I would be faster in recovery/getting rid of crutches.
