I am now pain free and the surgery has completely restored the use of my right shoulder, arm and hand in a surprisingly short time. On the day of surgery I was reassured by him with further explanation. Despite being the last patient of the day Peter was there at approximately 8.30pm to see me when I came round. A very friendly, open and welcoming manner, but at the same time, a highly diligent professional on each of the occasions I met with him. I was and am delighted by the two operations on my Dupuytren's on both hands. I can now use them both, they are flat and life is better. You don't realise how debilitating this condition is until you've got it. Back to playing the guitar (badly but I enjoy it), I can applaud people by clapping when I'd lost this ability for years and less dropping of everything. Mr Dimitrios Karadaglis is a fantastic surgeon. He explained clearly and in detail what my operations would involve. My questions were quickly answered and there was always the option of referring back if any further problems were identified. My left hand Carpal Tunnel Release which was straight forward has healed well. I and Mr Karadaglis are extremely pleased with the progress of my right hand of the Carpal Tunnel Release and right thumb trapeziectomy. The pain relief in both hand has been absolutely immense. I no longer lay awake in sheer agony.

During the initial appointment Dr Karuppaiah gave me all of the information required so that I could make an informed decision on the best treatment for my hand. On the day of the surgery he again made me feel at ease an I had full confidence going into theatre. No complications and my hand is healing as expected.
