I was so lucky to meet Mr Awad for my procedure. I felt totally confident that I would successfully get through a quite difficult episode in my life. Mr Awad was always caring and kind and patiently answered all my questions: his explanations were completely borne out by how things progressed. The nursing/speech/nutrition team at Charing Cross Hospital were also excellent.

He always ensures that the patient is at the centre of the decision making process, and provides them with uncomplicated explanations and interpretations of the various stages of the treatment plan. He is an exceptional person.

I can honestly say, Mr. Stephen Derbyshire has hands of gold!!! He did a wonderful job for me. I feel so blessed to know him and have Stephen as my doctor. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner. He was also kind, caring and friendly. All of the staff were great – they were helpful and kind. I am so glad I chose Mount Alvernia hospital and would highly recommend it to anyone.
