Mr Sturridge was very pragmatic right from the start. He quickly assessed my hip and realised I needed a full replacement. But critically he also assessed the knee pain I had been suffering with for 5 years as likely to be referred pain from the hip. Mr Sturridge visited me in the afternoon after the morning op to check I was comfortable and to let me know everything went well. I was able to get up and walk a few steps with a walker that day. Within two weeks I was able to walk unaided without crutches and at my six week check up with him I was walking up to an hour! Mild pain was completely gone within a month and the scar is very neat and healed well. I cannot have hoped for a better outcome as true to his word the knee pain I have suffered for so long (and three knee ops) has completely gone! Thank you so much!

Mr Jalgaonkar was very positive and reassuring about my operations. He explained everything clearly and had a very gentle manner. My recovery from both operations has been remarkable and I have been able to resume my normal activities pain free within weeks.
