Good manner and explained in simple terms all that was going to happen, together with expected outcomes. 10 months on after a double hip replacement and walking out of the hospital unaided two days after surgery, I'm back to badminton, golf and five-a-side football.

Had a full right hip replacement at age 50 in January 2024 after being diagnosed with AVN of the femoral head a couple years prior. Was told to get on with my life in 2021 and come back when it was bad enough and so I tried to push off as wasn’t keen to go through the hassle or pain . 4 months post op I am very happy with the results and have only positive things to say about Professor Field, his anaesthetist Dr Hussein and Zoe who runs the office super efficiently . Can honestly say pain post op wasn’t bad and didn’t need pain killers within a few days after the op . Was up on crutches same day as the op. Did feel tired and a bit under the weather at times first 3-4 weeks but could do everything bar put a sock on ! Professor Field never rushed me in appointments and always tried to explain everything in details , I would definitely recommend him and his team .

The appointment went really well today, Mr. Oragui was very pleased with my progress.

Mr Davidson performed my left hip revision at Guys in Nov 2023. I had had the first op at Spires by Mr Lambu in June 2022. The hip had moved and I was left in pain. I felt my complaints were never addressed. Eventually I managed to get a referral through my GP to Mr Davidson who said I needed a Revision. He explained that the hip joint had moved. After some time (!), I was booked into Guys. The 2nd op felt totally different from the first time I stood up. I was visited by Mr Davidson and his team straight after my op and again before I was discharged. I met one of Mr Davidsons team on my 3 month checkup and then after 6 months I met Mr Davidson. Everything is so much better and this new hip is a success. Thank you, Mr Davison and your team.

Straight away from arriving at the clinic all staff were extremely friendly and helpful extending into the appointment whereby dr Imbuldeniya straight away took a genuine interest, care and engaging attitude toward my injuries. He was positive, pragmatic and extremely knowledgeable, all combining to give an excellent amount of care and therefore confidence in the steps laid out for recovery.

Miss Tross explained in full detail what the issues were with my hip, the options that could be taken and the actual process that was completed. Samantha is friendly, articulate, and I believe an excellent surgeon. I had 100% trust in her ability to carry out the procedure and obtain the best result possible. The follow up attention to detail to advise how it had worked out was also excellent.

My hip is wonderful, almost full flexibility and if I need the other one doing I shall be coming!
