If I am honest it took too long to get the appointment booked but once I was booked in everything was really good.

Appointment on time. Mr Coonar immediately put me at ease, he discussed my case in a very clear and concise manner. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and Mr Coonar replied accordingly. I felt that I was put at ease and that my previous surgery had been sucessful and I have full faith in this incredibly devoted surgeon who also took the time to introduce two students with my consent. I feel that this would benefit the students knowledge base greatly. Mr Coonar is genuinely kind honest and approachable. I left the appointment feeling that I had a positive experience with an excellent thoratic surgeon and his team.

The experience I had was positive. Dr Mohammed explained my situation in a clear and comprehensive way . I felt he was talking to me and not at me. He Gave me and my family time to ask questions and happily answer them and I never felt rushed and explained what we are doing going forward with my condition A family friend is in Scotland and couldn’t make it to appointment, so she faced time with us at appointment, which Dr Mohammed was fine about had this to say as feed back Dr waleed Mohammed appraisal. I wanted to add ( as a former NHS consultant myself) that Dr waleed Mohammed was superb. Lesley has had a long history of emotional difficulties and he was empathetic and insightful as how to help Lesley to manage both her treatment and her appointments . He was generous with his time, clearly explaining everything including his own thoughts and making the appointments accessible and reassuring in an appropriate way. He was attentive to her daughter’s thoughts ( her main carer) and questions. He was incredibly generous in letting me join via the internet from Aberdeen and made space for me to ask questions and make comments. I have done many professional appraisals for doctors over the years and many would not be as positive as this. Dr waleed Mohammed is a credit to the profession and it was a privilege to have the appointments with him.

Mr Panagiotopoulos is an amazing surgeon. He took his time to listen to my concerns and addressed them with so much empathy and compassion. He is very knowledgable and a great expert in his field. I am finally the person I have always prayed to be because of him. I am completely free from sweaty palms and feel confident and comfortable in any setting. My life has completely changed!

Dr Gennatas has a professional and approachable manner , giving information clearly and inviting questions. He is reassuring and knowledgeable and has a very calm manner.
