Mr Mitry carried out my Right eye surgery in May 2024. This surgery was for cataract surgery for my left eye. During my post-Op consultation for first cataract surgery, Mr Mitry and I discussed what to expect for this second cataract surgery. This was mainly because the left eye was a "problematic" lazy due to a numerous eye surgeries from a childhood accident. In fact the right eye was always compensating for the weakness in the left eye. Surgery was scheduled for 8th July 2024 at the London Clinic. Seeing Mr Mitry again was like seeing a close friend, and I was at complete ease as it was our fifth meeting. Mr Mitry again explained in depth, the details of the upcoming procedure. He took sufficient time to explaining the advantages and disadvantages the lens he recommended, and what the expected result would be for this weaker eye. I was told I would still have a good outcome, but I may not have the same pinpoint accuracy of the right eye. The day after the surgery when I removed the eye-guard, the vision of the left eye was amazing! The vision was so sharp, like I had my old contact lenses in both eyes. I could not be more pleased, as it has completed changed my life as I never thought my vison would be so clear. My Post-Op consultation with Mr Mitry at his Harley Street Office the following week. A scan and various tests were done, which showed that everything was healed, pressure in my eye was perfect and the outcome was fantastic, in light of all the various issues I had suffered with my eyes since childhood. Mr Mitry confirmed that I could go back to all my normal activities. I can honestly say, that over the past few months Mr Mitry has become like a friend, and it was quite sad that I will not be meeting with him again now that surgeries and consultations are complete. I will definitely been keeping in contact with him even though my surgeries are now complete. Mr Mitry is an incredible Ophtalmologist and Ophthalmic surgeon whose excellent skills has been instrumental in giving me a new lease of life. I am happy to highly recommend Mr Mitry. To put it very clearly, Mr Mitry is the best. He is a GREAT SURGEON. I will forever be grateful to him for using his skills to enhance the quality if my vision and my life!

Very helpful and reassuring visit

I first met Dr Pillai in 2017 for my ICL treatment and found his level of personal service and care to be unparalleled. Other clinics had suggested laser treatment, whilst Dr Pillai was the only surgeon who advised against it due to the high risk with my prescription. Throughout the surgery, I felt well looked after and Dr Pillai answered all my questions calmly and reassuringly. A few months post-ICL, unfortunately I had a freak accident playing table tennis which affected my vision. I went back to Dr Pillai who quickly organised a team for an emergency procedure (free of charge!) and this saved my vision! In my recent visit to Dr Pillai last week (2024), his attention to detail remained impressive. He took the time to thoroughly explain and show the scan results, ensuring a comprehensive consultation. Unlike other clinics where you're treated like a number, Dr Pillai genuinely cares for his patients. Overall, I find Dr. Pillai to be exceptionally honest and trustworthy. I am deeply grateful to him and his team for their outstanding care and would highly recommend Dr. Pillai. Thank you to Dr. Pillai and his team for everything!
