More importantly, his advise has actually helped to resolve my issue of chronic thrush, so I haven’t needed a follow-up visit. I am especially happy with this interaction because I am able to compare it to previous experiences with different gynaecologists; I had seen someone for this same issue previously, and she was not helpful at all. I had initially been more apprehensive about seeing a male gynaecologist in this case, but actually it was a much better experience than with the aforementioned female gynaecologist (at a different practice and hospital).
