Miss Adib is possibly the most approachable and sensitive medics that I have ever had dealings with. Her professionalism, coupled with a deep understanding of her specialisation, is extremely reassuring. I had a Mona Lisa Smile treatment. Miss Adib gently explained every step of the process and carried out the procedure. There were three sessions which each took in the region of 5/7 mins, spaced over three months. The procedure has had an extremely positive effect on my life and general wellbeing. I can sneeze and laugh without crossing my legs, which is such a massive improvement with something that I had simply leant to live with. I had stopped running due to leakages, but last weekend I played 3 sets of tennis with my family, I felt secure and relaxed throughout, and enjoyed it enormously. I cannot thank Miss Adib enough for improving my quality of life so much. I cannot understand why all women in their 50/60 /70s don't have this treatment. I will be back each year now for the annual one off procedure. Additionally, I am also now being guided through taking BHRT by Miss Adib. My approach is why 'put up' with all these restrictive 'things' which we encounter as we get older if we don't have to. I am so happy to have met Miss Adib and would recommend her unreservedly to all.

I am lucky to have had the most amazingly healing experience in lots of ways! I had a bad experience in a health care setting before and have just been very phobic of internal examinations and hadn’t been able to have them previously. His PA was incredible and let me send information beforehand and she was so reassuring. Mr Swanton was very understanding, asked how I felt about a scan; showed the device to me because I was anxious about the size and even let me insert myself during the examination, so it was possible and easier for me . He was so reassuring and said we could stop at any point if it hurt. He was so kind, easy to talk to and happy to answer any difficult and embarrassing questions. For me it was the most empowering medical appointment I’ve ever had. I’d been in significant pain for over 20 years sometimes debilitating and previous Dr’s had put it down to anxiety, rather than periods, and medicated me for that. He really listened to my symptoms and my pain and gave me very clear options and choices and everything was my choice. I opted to have the investigative surgery and I’m so glad I did. Quite a lot of endometriosis was found in many different areas and he lazered it all Away. I’m already in a lot less pain and the first few months after surgery are normally The hardest apparently, so I know how life changing this will be for me going forwards. My only regret is I didn’t do it sooner and it’s helped me so much psychologically to know my pain and experience was real and diagnosed and treated. I no longer have awful pain throughout the whole month or any bowel symptom's- I thought I had severe IBS before the surgery. The follow up care from his PA was so helpful and the follow up appointment after surgery was so so helpful, especially seeing all The pictures and everything that had been lazered and again being able to ask lots of questions about managing the condition going forwards, which he patiently answered all of them. I’m speaking to any woman out there who is worried or anxious about examinations - it really is worth booking an Appointment; you will be in the very safest of hands, with a genuinely kind, very knowledgeable and caring person. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I had any further problems in the future and I wouldn’t be anxious next time. Best decision I ever made ! Fab experience from beginning to end. He excels at what he does, wants the best outcome for you and you really will be treated with dignity, kindness and respect.

I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.
