This is the consultant you want in your corner if you need to have a hysterectomy for gynae-oncology reasons, actually probably for any other reason too. There's three things that make Miss Tipples a truly 5 star consultant 1) Her bedside and consulting manner is efficient yet calm, kind and patient 2) She is a brilliant surgeon and I am recovering extremely well from my operation 3) She takes a holistic approach to patient treatment so everyone I needed to see during the pre-op and post-op care were aware of Miss Tipples requirements. This included the radiographer, pre-op nurse and physio as you may expect, but even the housekeeper who explained Miss Tipples likes patients to have a light meal after their op. Lastly, if you do need to see Miss Tipples for gynaeoncology, she follows the best of best practice - even my biopsy results were reviewed by the MDT after my operation to ensure the results were accurate and complete. The only additional thing I'd recommend for Miss Tipples patients if they are having a hysterectomy would be an appointment with a POGP physio before your operation so you have a baseline for your pelvic floor strength. That's just a personal view though.

Mr Webster was very professional and friendly. He asked questions and explained my diagnosis well. He answered all of the questions I had and put me at ease.

Dr Elnasharty was highly respectful and professional. He was able to explain things well, offered clear advice and answered all of my questions.

Mr Gardner was warm and inviting. He is a good listener and is anxious to know more about you. By learning about my pets and home life he managed to help me relax.

I saw Dr Bahl first just after Christmas. Because of difficulties experienced as a young child I have neglected my health all my life due to extreme fear. Dr Bahl is an exceptional human being and a wonderful gynaecologist. She treated with respect , humanity and empathy.
