As a general comment I think that more info on post op recovery, wound mgt etc would be useful - to be fair some of this is available online but the surgeons focus is, rightly, on the operation, as is much of the provided information. As a patient the post op period when issues arise - dressings, twinges, exercises etc and some more support mechanisms /info here would be good - not that I think busy consultants like Mr Lockyer need to provide it.
