I met Mr Abdul at the DRI. He explained everything clearly to me, asking me if I understood what he was saying. He was very busy but I still felt he took time to reassure me about what was going to happen. He visited me after my operation to explain what he had done. I would like to thank him and all the staff involved in the journey I have been on.

My first consultation with Dr Yazbek took place over a year ago. During that meeting I received all the answers to my questions with regards to managing my situation with uterine fibroids. Dr Yazbek described clearly all available treatments to me, their benefits and potential risks. While still on the NHS waiting list, I have decided that I needed more urgent help as the fibroids were still growing and making my daily life rather difficult. Not only is Dr Yazbek, whom I chose to be my surgeon - a very skilled professional, but his way of communicating with a patient (calm, measured, empathetic and with great listening skills) make it very easy for me to recommend him to other patients.

I felt very reassured after my visit and heard and validated. I had a smear test (long overdue because I hate them) which was entirely painless. I would highly recommend Mr Ellis Downes

Mr Nath explained the risks and benefits of robotic surgery very comprehensively. More importantly, from my experience, he is an extremely competent surgeon in a very important emerging field. My post op recovery was very much faster than that of people I know who had a conventional procedure. His PA is also brilliant, making it easy to deal with any issues which arise such as queries from insurers. A great team.

Mr Sayasneh has been amazing and couldn't recommend him enough. After years of painful periods and not being given a solution or diagnosis despite scans on the NHS, he diagnosed me very quickly with endometriosis and helped me with a pain management plan and talked through fertility implications. He then went on to do a laparoscopy which was very successful, left minimal scaring and has turned my life around pain-wise. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good gynaecologist.

Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere He has seen me safely through various gynae problems from smear tests to hysterectomy to referrals to other top consultants, to advising and helping my two daughters through to my HRT implants. Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

Miss Nandy is absolutely, a 5 star consultant. Extremely calming, patient, professional and knowledgable. Miss Nandy always took plenty of time to explain all options to me ensuring I understood and was comfortable with everything before moving on. I felt she went above and beyond what was expected of a doctor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miss Nandy to anyone looking for a gynaecologist.
