Katherine Radcliffe is an experienced Integrative Counsellor based at Calmer Clinics. He has a varied career, having studied languages and worked for over 15 years in the corporate marketing world, she then changed career and has spent the last 15 years devoted to understanding the human condition. She completed a master’s degree in psychology and joined the NHS, training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and as a Clinical Supervisor in a Mental Health Support Team in Schools. Since then, she has completed further training to become an Integrative Counsellor, expanding her repertoire of approaches and enabling her to draw on a wide range of professional tools to help her patients according to their individual needs.
Katherine balances her private work with adults and adolescents over 16 in private practice, as well as senior leaders and pastoral teams in schools with her NHS role.
The foundation of her approach is Rogerian person-centred, but she also integrates elements of Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Depending on her patient's needs, she may also offer creativity, breathwork, mindfulness, compassion focused therapy and embodied work. She always ensured tailored approaches to each of her patients.
