Dr Nele Dumpert is a dedicated and skilled Gynaecologist with a commitment to women's health. Born in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, Dr. Dumpert's passion for Gynaecology was ignited during a transformative year spent volunteering at a rural Zimbabwean hospital, where she provided assistance during deliveries and cared for pregnant women.

Dr. Dumpert began her medical journey at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany, where she earned her medical degree. She began her training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2005, eventually obtaining full qualification as a Gynaecologist in 2011. Her career has led her to various healthcare settings across Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Luxembourg, and the UK, encompassing both NHS and private hospitals and clinics.

With a holistic approach, Dr. Dumpert focuses on hormonal conditions, offering comprehensive care for issues such as period irregularities, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), perimenopause/menopause, hormonal acne, pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS), and endometriosis. Her treatment approach integrates dietary guidance, lifestyle changes, supplements, and prescription medications, including body-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Additionally, Dr. Dumpert provides early pregnancy care, including ultrasound scans, contraceptive advice, and procedures such as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and coils (IUDs).

An esteemed member of various healthcare organisations, including FSRH, FEMM Health, NFPTA, BMS, and BSCCP, Dr. Dumpert's dedication to medical education was recognised with the Oxleas Excellence in Medical Education Award in 2022.

Currently holding a substantive NHS Consultant post at Oxleas NHS Trust, Dr. Dumpert also serves as a Consultant in Colposcopy at Homerton Hospital, where she continues to make impactful contributions to women's health and well-being.
