Dr. Sami Hassan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand & Wrist Surgeon. He obtained both an intercalated Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) (Hons) degree and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Sheffield in 2006.

Dr. Sami underwent rigorous orthopaedic training in the East Midlands (North) Rotation, resulting in his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) (Tr & Orth) board certification and his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Sami obtained the prestigious British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) Hand Diploma from the University of Manchester and the European Board Hand Surgery Diploma from the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH) in 2019. 

He is proficient in treating a wide range of complex conditions affecting the hand and wrist, including acute fractures, compression neuropathies, Dupuytren's disease, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Keinbock's disease, and wrist instability. He is particularly skilled in managing delayed presentations such as mal-unions or non-unions of hand and wrist fractures.

Dr. Sami's contributions to the field of orthopaedic surgery extend beyond clinical practice. He has received numerous awards and research grants, including grants from prestigious societies such as the National Heart Fund and the BSSH. He has also served as faculty for various courses and international meetings. Additionally, Dr. Sami has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is a sought-after lecturer in international meetings.
