Mr Will Dean is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist renowned for his expertise in cataracts, cataract surgery (including premium intra-ocular lenses, and advanced cataract), blurred vision, glaucoma, and ocular hypertension. He has served as a research associate at Harvard Medical School, Boston Children's Hospital, USA, and four years as CBM Ophthalmologist and Director at Nkhoma Mission Eye Hospital, Malawi.
His research has been published with over 40 peer-reviewed international scientific journal articles, and he is the author of a well-known comprehensive book on eye surgery. He is an active member of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London (RCOpth), where he served as the chair of the RCOpth International Committee.
